Our 4th

We had such an awesome 4th of July. In my hometown the 4th is as big as Christmas. Everyone dresses in their red, white, and blue clothes, we all make festive food and eat all day, the parade is usually awesome (this year was kind of the exception due to the massive wild fire that threatened to destroy the town), there's a rodeo, flag raisings, and tons of family. It was magical.


And it wore some of us right out!

I tried my hand at a cake I found here .


It kind of turned out!

I can't believe the 4th was already 2 weeks ago. I LOVE the 4th of July and already can't wait til next year!
