There's this little lake about a stone's throw from my parents' house that lots of people travel to each summer and one day Collin asked when the last time I went there was, and I shamefully replied that I'd never been. Then my mom chimed in that she'd never been, and then the greatest shock of all, my 93 year old grandpa who I thought had covered every inch of ground within 100 miles of our home town admitted that he'd never been either! So we loaded up in Grandpa's old pick up and headed to the lake. It was the most beautiful place I'd ever seen and I'm embarrassed that I didn't spend every second of my childhood there! Hawley Lake, you stole my heart!
