Adoption Spotlight V. 1-Blandon, Brinn and Harper

Meet Blandon, Brinn, and Harper. They're a gorgeous family who is ready to adopt and it's my privilege to help them get the word out!  I asked them a few fun questions that would help all of us get to know them better. Here goes:

5 facts in 5 words or less:
1. we are total beach bums.
2. we make awesome blanket forts.
3. we love being active.
4. we have a stinky bulldog.
5. we love new adventures

What led you to adoption?
we have been struggling with unexplained secondary infertility for 4 1/2 years. after much prayer, thought, and more prayer, we have been gently led to adoption and we couldn't be more excited about it!

Do you have any prior experience with adoption?
we don't have any prior experience with adoption, besides having friends who have placed, adopted, or been adopted. 





What excites you most about potentially being placed with a sweet child?

this is the hardest question to answer! What doesn't excite us? We are so excited to add another sweet spirit into our family and watch our family dynamic change, strengthen, and grow. We are so excited for the relationships an open adoption can provide. We are so excited to see our little guy blossom into the best big brother ever. We are excited to go to the temple as a complete forever family. We are honestly excited for everything, bring on the sleepless nights, we've been waiting!

What is your favorite holiday tradition?
so many to choose from! my new favorite is one that we came up with this year. Our son wished and hoped for a white Christmas this year, but unfortunately it was 70 degrees. We decided to take things into our own hands and created our own white christmas using paper and cotton balls. The look on his face in the morning was worth the hours spent creating the winter wonderland. It was such a hit that we have decided to make it a yearly tradition. you can see pictures here.
